Day 18: YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK - SAN FRANCISCO: Pier 39 in Fisherman's Wharf
We arrive around 12 noon in San Francisco and the first thing we do is leave the rental car in the United States in a parking lot directly in front of our hotel, the Grant Hotel, which will accommodate us the next days we will spend in the city.
At this time the hunger begins to bite so we are going to eat at a nearby restaurant and then, without too much desktop, we go directly to the San Francisco Tourist Office where we loaded with brochures and plans of the city and took the opportunity to buy the Transport Card for 3 days, which turns out to be the best choice and which we amortize from today.
And so, with everything already solved, we started our first contact with the city of San Francisco.
We have only been here for a few hours, but we have to say that San Francisco never ceases to amaze us and more after so many days surrounded by nature that we ended yesterday with the visit to Yosemite Park.
The idea we have today is to go around the most emblematic sites, such as Little Italy, China Town, Pier 39 in Fisherman's Wharf, all in quick plan since we are quite close to the hotel and so we get a first idea of the city.
